Hey there! I hope you had an awesome Fourth of July! Check out my instagram to get a sneak peek of my Independence Day. I’m sure you’ve all heard of Lust Lists, lists of clothing that fashion bloggers are lusting over and dreaming of purchasing. So I thought I’d make my own lust list with leotards because I tend to spend way more time dreaming of leotards than normal clothes 🙂 I have included pictures, all courtesy of the leotard brands… Now for the list of leotards I’m lusting over:
Cocoa by Eleve
This leotard is definitely very pricey, but hey, it’s a list of leotards I’m dreaming about! It is a ready-to-wear from Eleve, so it takes less time to receive which is always a bonus. I’m a super big fan of anything classic, so a light pink floral leotard is right up my alley. I love the mesh half-sleeves—I’m a sucker for leotards with sleeves, I find them so elegant! There are so many ways to style this, but I think it would look gorgeous with a grey wrap skirt and a French twist. All in all, this is definitely a leotard for lovers of elegance and class, you can find it here.
Nora by Mariia
So I’m really not a lover of tank leotards, but this one from Mariia is beautiful! It is a simple, two-toned, v-neck tank leotard, but I love that it comes in different color combinations. Another plus is that it is a great cheaper alternative to Yumiko’s best seller, Alicia. Check it out here if you’re interested!
Charm by Luckyleo
I love this leotard! You can find this high-neck, sky blue and white beauty here. Again, it’s very classic and delicate, which is very true to my style. Unfortunately Luckyleo is a higher-end brand, making it very hard to justify buying one, but it’s absolutely gorgeous and definitely deserves a spot on my current list of dream leotards! Specifically, I love the lace accent on the back, and the bust liner, which I prefer to a full liner as I just find it more comfortable and I’m more used to it.
Juliet 3/4 sleeve by Gaynor Minden
Continuing on with the high-end brand trend, we have this lovely leo. I think this one manages to be both classic and trendy as it is very simple with a black nylon base and mesh neckline, but it also reminds me of the current off-the-shoulder trend in “normal clothes” right now. I love that it has a bust lining, and I also think this one would be suuuper flattering on. You can find it here!
Emma by Wear Moi
Finally, we have my personal favorite! This is basically anything I could want in a leotard—it has cap sleeves (my favorite leo style), flocked velvet (which I LOVE) and a low, square back, which I always find really flattering! The one con of this leotard for me is this full front lining, but I could get over that. I did try this on at a nearby dance store and absolutely loved it, but I just couldn’t justify purchasing it at that time. Since then I have been saving for it, but I have no need for it yet since I can’t dance! For now, this one will stay in my dreams… Anyways, I tried it on and found it super comfortable, chic and elegant! You can find this beauty here.
You may notice that I did not include any clearance leotards, despite my love for a good deal on a leotard. I was going to talk about them at first, but I realized that many of the ones I like only came in one size 🙁 If you do want to check out some more affordable leotards I’m loving Gaynor Minden’s clearance and Discount Dance’s clearance right now, hopefully they have your size!
Ok, I have to limit myself here before I bore you 🙂 I could talk about leotards for hours, it’s a slight obsession—hence the name of my blog. Hope you are having a great day so far, lovelies!
